Membership
a. Members: $275/year
Description: Members shall be small businesses that are certified, registered, or otherwise qualified as being veteran or service disabled veteran-owned small businesses under the applicable U.S. Small Business Administration regulations. Veteran and service disabled veteran-owned small businesses are encouraged to be verified by the Department of Veteran Affairs Center for Veteran Enterprise as a veteran or service disabled veteran-owned and controlled small business.
Members shall be eligible to vote on matters affecting the Coalition such as: a sale of all or substantially all of the corporation’s assets; a merger; a dissolution; changes in the authorized number of directors of the NVSBC; authorization of a new class of Members; any material and adverse change in the rights, privileges, preferences, restrictions, or conditions of Members as to voting, dissolution, redemption, or transfer, whether the change is made in these bylaws or another document; and amendments to NVSBC’s articles of incorporation.
b. Associate Members: $2000/year
Description: Associate Members are all other types of businesses or federal agencies. Associate Members do not have voting rights on any matters affecting the NVSBC; however, we do value their participation and support towards the mission of this organization.
c. Procurement Technical Assistance Centers (PTACs) or the like: $125/year
Description: Any local resource available at no or nominal cost that can provide assistance to business firms in marketing products and services to the Federal, state and local governments. These organizations are generally funded by the Department of Defense or other government agencies.
